PASSPORT, VISA & IMMIGRATION
All travelers to Indonesia must hold a passport for at least six months after arrival with onward/return tickets as a proven.

AIRPORT TAX
Airport tax for International Departure is levied by the airport authority while international tickets used for domestic flights should also pay the airport tax from Rp 9.000 – Rp 21.000 depends on airport category.
CLIMATE
Sulawesi has warm tropical climate with wet and dry seasons lasting approximately six months each, the dry from APRIL to OCTOBER is the best time to visit Sulawesi. JUNE to OCTOBER offers the best chance of witnessing a major TORAJANESE FUNERAL.
CUSTOMS
Customs allow on entry a maximum of two litters of alcoholic beverages,200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 100 grams of tobacco and a reliable amount of parfume per adult. Cars, Photographic , equipment, typewriter, radio are admitted provided. They are taken out on departure.
CURRENCY & EXCHANGE
Main foreign currencies are exchangeable at the bank or at money Changer in major cities. While credit card is also acceptable at big stores such as Department store which is now very common. Additional administration fee sometimes should be added for every transaction around 2-3 percents.
OFFICE HOURS
Business hours is from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm . Government office is 08:00 am – 02:00 pm from Monday to Thursday while on Friday till 12:00 pm.
ELECTRICITY
Most hotels use 220 volts. Outlets for shaving equipment is both 220 and 110 voltage.
