SENGGIGI LOMBOK DAY TRIP

Upon arrival at Selaparang airport, you will be welcomed by our representative, then tour starts to visit Banyumulek village, famous for its traditional potery, Mandalika market; the perfect place to observe the local activities. Narmada, the Royal garden dated back 17th Century, proceed to Senggigi, the major tourist beach resort in Lombok. Lunch will be served in Senggigi area. A short drive to Senggigi main area for leisure. The tour then proceed to visit the temple of Batubolong, where, during the clear weather, you can witness the panorama of Mt. Agung in Bali. Passing through the old harbor of Ampenan, to reach Mataram, the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara and the trading centre of Cakranegara just before you stop at the temple of Lingsar; a unique culture that merges the Hindhus and Moslem to live in harmony. After that, Mayura; the water palace, which was also used as the meeting hall of the former Balinese kingdom, Jangkuk village, famous for its wood and lontar leaves handicraft. Drive back to Lembar harbor or airport.


NUANSA LOMBOK

First we will visit the Sesela area and walk through the inland of local village to the Meninting river to start your exotic journey using the local “gondola“ of bamboo raft along the river, where the villagers rely their life : mostly the Sandman ! Next continue to Medang Beach with its unspoilt natural beaches. Lunch will be served at Nirvana Beach Restaurant. On the way back we will visit Banyumulek Village famous for its pottery.


NIRVANA GILI

The tour starting with a visit to Banyumulek Village which famous for its pottery, then continue to Tawun Harbor to catch a boat to deserted Island of Gili Sudak and Gili Kedis for snorkeling and swimming, where, you can enjoy the colorful coral reefs and varieties of tropical fish. BBQ Sea food lunch will be served at Nirvana Beach Restaurant. On the way back you will visit Lingsar Temple built in 1727 famous as the only Hidushrine in the world where both Hindu and Moslem come to worship.

KUTA A DAY TRIP

Your guide will welcome you at the airport then onto Banyumulek, famous for its traditional pottery, Sukarare village; renowned for its traditional hand weaving of brightly patterned songket, ikat and sarong cloth, after that, Sade village – featuring the unique traditional lodge with its buffalo dung floors, Tanjung A’an at Kuta beach – one of the most scenic and un-spoilt beaches in this part of the island. Lunch is served at one of the local restaurant at Kuta area.
On the way back to the airport or harbor, you will also have the chance to visit Mayura; the water palace of the former Balinese Kingdom.


JALAN-JALAN

The tour features : Mayura water palace, built in 1744 and once was part of the impressive Balinese Kingdom, Mandalika; the main market of Lombok and the perfect place to observe the daily activity of the local, Taman Narmada built in 1727 by King Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Karang Asem as the kingly garden as well as the place to worship. Its spring water is believed to grant the eternal youth for the believers. Then, Lingsar temple (built in 1714) – famous as the only Hindhu temple in the world, which also happily accept their Moslem brothers to worship together. This temple symbolizes the harmony and unity of both religion.


LUMBUNG

The tour will visit : Getap; the village of the blacksmith, producing farming and kitchen utensils, such as hand plough, horse-shoes, knives, etc. Mandalika market – the main traditional trading activity in the island, Sekarbela; the town of the silversmith, and also Mt. Pengsong; one of the most sacred temple which is inhabited by hundreds of monkeys.

GAWAH SOFT TREKKING

After a short drive passing through Mataram, the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara, a short stop will be made at Karang Bayan village, popular for its traditional Ketak handicraft, with your tour guide you will also have the chance to shortly hike to the Ketak forest, where some species of flora and seasonal insects can be seen along the trek. Then onto Punikan village, also popular for their handicraft, and the local mountain resort of Suranadi, where your lunch is served, take this opportunity to swim in the fresh natural spring water.

We visit the morning market at Kediri and stop off at the village of Banyumulek to see the Sasak women producing earthenware pottery, as they have done for generations. Continue on to sacred Mt. Pengsong, and the Hindu temple, which is inhabited by hundreds of holy monkeys. We sail from Lembar , by traditional motorized outriggers, for the 30 minutes trip to Gili Nanggu, where there will be time to relax and swim on this pristine island.

This full day tour offers a unique view of the daily life of the local indigenous people of Lombok, the Sasak. We will have a chance to sample their culture and traditions that date back some 600 years.
We begin the tour with a visit to Mujur with its bustling morning market, Keruak, where we will witness the process used in the manufacturing of salt and Tanjung Luar fish market, with the opportunity to see one of the Indonesia’s busiest shark markets.
For a further taste of local flavor we then tour the village of Loyok, for its traditional basketry made of bamboo and where we hope to visit a local school to see the ever cheerful and boisterous young students at work and at play. We will then explore on foot the forest of mahogany trees and clove plantations at Tetebatu. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Our final stop will be Lingsar Temple, which symbolizes the harmony and unity of religious life in Lombok.
